These pages contain pointers to a number of OWL ontologies available on the Web. We are concentrating primarily on ontologies that are in the OWL DL or Lite subspecies. The intention is that these ontologies will be useful for testing and evaluating OWL software such as reasoners and editors.
If you are the author or owner of an ontology and would rather we did not display a pointer to your ontology, please let us know. Alternatively, if you have an ontology that you think should be added to the collection, let us know! We hope to provide an automated facility for submitting ontologies in the near future.
Note that these are pointers to external ontologies. We make no claims as to the usefulness, validity or correctness of these ontologies, and the appearance of a URL on these pages should not be taken in any way as an endorsement. These pages are simply intended as a centralised resource for those looking for OWL ontologies.

- Excel spreadsheet containing a list of ontologies along with statistics about the ontologies, e.g. number of classes, number of object and datatype properties, number of individuals. The spreadsheet also contains information about the operators used in the ontology, for example whether explicit negation or disjunction (or) is used.
